Louise Bauernfeind
Louise joined the Raskin Global team in September 2002 after having been with our affiliate, First Financial Group, for over 7 years. At First Financial Group she was the New Business Manager and brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience. Prior to joining First Financial Group, she worked in the Home Offices of local insurance companies in the areas of life and health claims and underwriting.
Through the years, Louise has received the following insurance industry certifications: Associate Life and Health Claims, Associate of Customer Service and Associate of Insurance Agency Administration. She is also a Fellow of the Life Management Institute.
Although Louise was born and raised in Baltimore, she moved to Southern York County in the late 1980’s, where she owns an eighty year old “Sears Catalog” home. She likes the serenity of country living. “The best part about living in a small town is being able to get to know the people by attending the annual carnivals, parades, flea markets, yard sales, church bazaars and auctions.” Apparently, Pennsylvania has many such functions and Louise hits them all!
Louise has two grown children. Her daughter, Annemarie lives in Northern Baltimore County with her husband, Eric, and her 14-year-old daughter, Stephanie. Her son, Mel, is a 1999 Villa Julie College graduate and resides in Harford County.
Louise likes to collect teddy bears, copper utensils and other objects made of copper. Her other interests include gardening, home improvement, reading, dancing, bowling, traveling and especially getting together with family and friends. She frequently spends time with her 75-year-old mother, her two sisters, her brother and her mother’s sisters and their families.
Louise is a team player and is always willing to go the extra mile to get the best results.
